I was born and raised in Berkeley County. I married my wife, Stella, in 2000 and we have 5 children. I worked my way through school and life with honesty, hard work and determination. These principles, the love of my family, and perseverance have carried me through years of fighting for a more accountable government at the local and state level.

Representing the 63rd district in the West Virginia House of Delegates, Michael showcased an unwavering commitment to his constituents. His tenure in the House was marked by thoughtful legislation and a steadfast dedication to the values that West Virginians hold dear.

A MESSAGE FROM MIKE:
My first term as Delegate taught me a lot, mostly that the culture of corruption in Charleston is worse than I had thought when I first began in 2012. It has reinforced my desire to change the direction of our County, State and Country. As Thomas Jefferson said, “All tyranny needs to gain a foothold, is for people of good conscience to remain silent.” I hope to continue the struggle to preserve individual freedom and liberty and encourage personal and financial responsibility. I believe true Leadership means sticking your neck out for right, even when it is against the establishment. Let’s make West Virginia a place where we can live, work, & raise a family without the constraints of burdensome policies.
